Enrolling in the Program

Applicants will learn whether or not they've been accepted into the BCTR approximately three weeks after the interview event. The notification is sent by email, and includes the necessary steps to enroll in the program for those who are accepted. Once enrolled in the program, enrollees will move forward with fulfilling their content-specific testing requirements and participate in mandatory workshops that provide more specific information about different facets of the program, such as test-taking skills and the district hiring process. An orientation will provide enrollees with a more comprehensive look at the rigorous preparation they'll receive through our program, both during Pre-service training and through TNTP Academy. Candidates who enroll in the program are not guaranteed a position unless all requirements are met, including testing, background checks, and successful completion of Pre-Service Training.
